Who we share your data with
We do not share your data with third parties unless we are required to by law, for example when a public authority asks us for it.
Some suppliers have access to your data because they provide services to us, such as website hosting, email or client management. They act as data processors, under a contract that requires them to process the data only on our instructions and with appropriate security measures.
If you would like the full list of recipients, write to us at info@trueworld.org.
International transfers
Some of these suppliers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we only do so with appropriate safeguards, such as a European Commission adequacy decision or the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission. You can ask us for more information at info@trueworld.org.
How we protect your data
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or damage. These measures allow us to:
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of our systems.
- Quickly restore access to the data if there is a physical or technical incident.
- Regularly test and assess that the measures are working.
Your rights
You can exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access: find out what data about you we process.
- Rectification: correct any data that is inaccurate.
- Erasure: ask us to delete it, for example when it is no longer needed.
- Objection: ask us to stop processing it for a specific purpose, on grounds relating to your particular situation.
- Restriction: ask us to keep it only to establish or defend legal claims.
- Portability: receive it in a structured format, or have us send it to another controller, where technically possible.
- Withdraw your consent, where the processing is based on it.
To exercise them, write to us at info@trueworld.org or by post to C. Germans Lumière 3, 2nd floor, 07121 ParcBit, Palma (Balearic Islands), Spain, stating which right you want to exercise. If we need to confirm who you are, we will ask you for a document proving your identity. We will reply within one month, which may be extended in the cases provided for by law.
If you feel we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
